Good news update for students planning to study in the UK

UK PM has announced the return of the two-year post-study work visa for international students. The “New Graduate Route” shall be active from next year (2020-21 incoming international students). So far, international students doing bachelors and masters have been allowed to stay and work only for 4 months and those at 27 universities in a pilot scheme get six months. After the 2 years period, they can shift to skilled work visa.This new immigration route will be a boon for international students flying to UK.

This route was discontinued by earlier UK PM Theresa May and is now reinstated by UK PM Boris Johnson. Due to the withdrawal of this Post Study Work rule, the number of international students’ recruitment had reduced to more than half in the last few years.
