Germany has produced world’s some of the top scientists like Einstein, Planck and Born. Germany is looked upon as a favored destination for abroad studies by many students. Germany is known as the pioneer in automobile industry. There are courses in the fields of Engineering, Computers, Management and Humanities. Thus, German Universities are not only renowned in STEM but also in Arts and Humanities. There are many Universities in Germany which offer education in English whereas there are others which teach in German so the international students are expected to learn German.

The top universities in Germany are as follows as ranked by “Top Universities Ranking 2019“ :

Some of these Universities do not charge tuition whereas the others charge some fee of around 1500 euros per semester because it is the policy of their Government which prohibits them from charging even the International students. But the international students need to pay for living expenses. There are certain scholarships in case the students wish to apply for living expenses.

They are :

- DAAF Scholarships – German Government Scholarships for International Students)

The requirements of procuring admission in any of the above universities is a good GPA, good test scores in IELTS or TOEFL and German Proficiency Test.
